Groundwater Quality of Saharsa District, Bihar

Groundwater quality of Saharsa District, Bihar was investigated for the samples collected in pre- and post-monsoon in the year 2022. Altogether twenty samples were collected in each season taking two samples of each ten community development blocks. The parameters studied were aerial temperature, water temperature, pH, turbidity, conductivity, total solid, total hardness, chloride, sulphate, nitrate, magnesium and calcium. The values for all the parameters was found to be well within the permissible and allowable limits prescribed by different authority.
