Efficacy of cytokinin on natural production of bioethanol

Fermentation of a micro organism is increased by including a cytokinin into the fermentation medium. In this communication we have studied the efficacy of dihydro-Zeatin, a cytokinin on natural production of bioethanol by Saccharomyces cerevisiae PK-255 and have found that it has got significant effect on natural production of bioethanol and could enhance the yield of bioethanol to an extent of 5.263% higher in comparison to control.
